The First Pizza Robotics Event in the World Is Happening in New Jersey

Pizza robotics, AI, and Autonomous delivery. That’s what xPizzaDay is all about.
On April 20, 2026, xPizzaDay will take place at The Columbia Inn in Montville, New Jersey. The event brings together pizza and automation in what is expected to be the first pizza robotics event in the world.
When guests arrive, the experience begins outside. Tesla Model Y vehicles will be lined up for Full Self-Driving demo drives presented by Tesla, a preview of what Autonomous Pizza Delivery might look like in the near future.
Multiple Cybertrucks will be on site, including the Cyber Pizza Truck, which will be serving pizza throughout the event. Positioned alongside it will be the xRobotics Pizza Cube, where attendees can make their own pizzas using robotic technology. A Cybertruck photo booth will also be available for guests to step inside and take photos.
Inside, the event continues as a walk-through experience. Guests will be greeted at the wrap-around bar by autonomous robots & staff dressed as cyborgs. The dining room will feature booths highlighting PizzaBot G1 by RoboStore, Toast IQ Central Command, and a pizza-focused virtual reality experience presented by 24/7 Restaurant Equipment.
Pepsi will be serving unlimited beverages throughout the event, along with a dedicated Pepsi Mixology Bar pairing different Pepsi flavors with pizza.
The Metro Stage, presented by Metro Exhibits, will host a fireside chat with industry professionals, led by Todd DeGroat, CEO and Founder of Popp’s Trophies.
The Cyber Pizza Truck, powered by The Columbia Inn, will serve unlimited pizza. The style is an ultra-thin bar pie, crisp from edge to center with no flop. It has been rated highly, including an 8.7 score from Dave Portnoy, and is considered one of the top pizzas in New Jersey. Guests will be able to watch it being produced in real time and served continuously.
One of the most notable aspects of the event will be the presence of humanoid robots. PizzaBot G1 and other robotic systems will be on site, offering a first look at how automation is entering the pizza space. For many attendees, this will be their first time seeing this level of technology in a live food environment.
The event is designed for multiple audiences. For pizzeria owners and operators, it provides a direct look at tools that can address real challenges, including staffing, consistency, and food preparation. Automation has the potential to handle repetitive tasks, allowing kitchens to focus more on fresh ingredients and execution.
For pizza fans, it offers a chance to experience something different. Attendees can see how pizza is being made in new ways, try the product, and interact with technology that is not yet widely available in everyday settings.
